We took part in YCC and Cult LDN & NYC's Fall Forward event. As part of panel, we gave insight to creatives in the early stages of their career, answering all their questions. After our panel discussion, we split off for virtual speed mentoring!
We were invited to join McCann Worldgroup’s ‘Creativity is the Only Way to Survive: But it Doesn’t Happen Without Diversity’ panel. We sat amongst McCann Ceo’s and Mastercard Marketing Vice President… to say we felt out of place is an understatement. But never the less, we spoke about the importance of young people’s perspective in the industry and how inexperience plays a vital role in idea making.
After being nominated, we were awarded badass.gal. This was a project set up by The Young Creative Council and launched on International Women’s Day 2018 to celebrate young female creatives that are already going above and beyond.
We then were selected to have our mugs taken at the #BadassBecause exhibition at Twitter HQ.
We joined a virtual mentoring programme
set up by Cult LDN to help others realise their ambition. We partnered up individually with someone coming into the industry. This has not only been a great opportunity to help creatives step in to the world of advertising but also has pushed us to think more critically, gain confidence and surprise ourselves that we do actually know what we're talking about... sometimes.

We were invited to speak and be part of a panel at a student conference at BCU. The theme was ‘People vs Tech’ and we spoke about our journey into advertising and dealing with imposter syndrome. We also spoke about the vital role of people before tech.
Since graduating, we've loved giving talks and book crits to current students at our old uni. Most recently, we set up a live brief for the third years, where the best team won the prize of McCann MK’s first placement team.
Which then got picked up by Campaign on International Women's Day!
We helped run a mini McCann agency at Birmingham design festival. During the festival we invited students to work with us on a pro bono live brief for a start up agency and experience agency life for real.
